Mercury Season is an Atlanta based mixed chamber music ensemble that presents varied but connected musics in engaging and informative ways in order to provide audiences an enjoyable aesthetic and communal experience. Just as visual artists utilize their distinct techniques and artistry to communicate their impressions of images and ideas around them, this group of musicians have taken the amazing maelstrom of music that surrounds us everyday and made it their own. This program features works from Popular, Classical, Jazz and different national musical traditions adapted and integrated for Mercury Season’s eclectic group of virtuoso performers.
